Find your family history in the records!
Every time your ancestor had a significant event, records were created and many were stored, some for hundreds of years.
There are records which show births and baptisms, marriages and deaths, houses or land that they owned, journeys overseas, involvement in sport, army or police service, court convictions, involvement in historic events, contributions to charities, and many more.
With a bit of luck and a little skill, the records of your own ancestors can be traced.
Members of the Genealogical Society of Ireland who have been tracing their families and other local families in the area for almost 30 years are here to help you do just that.
Templates to help you to set out your personal family tree will be available free of charge.
