In the period 1920-1970 Dun Laoghaire had more than 30 hotels, when the area was referred to as "Dublin's Riviera".
In the Summertime, the hotels were filled with family groups.
Many of the hotels had long-term residents in Wintertime, who appreciated the convenience of warmth and cooked food.
Some earlier hotels provided a range of unusual attractions to woo the visitor.
The walk will be supplemented with period photographs.
