The Workshops Videos include:

These Workshop Videos are suitable for all ages over 5. Parental guidance is essential.
Parents must use tools (incl. Secateurs). Please forage responsibly and within your county.

We will take kids (from 5+) on a journey to transform a garden or green space into a wonderful summer play area for them and their friends.
In a series of workshops, we are proposing to show kids and adults how to forage for materials and then to create a highly decorative, colourful and creative Totem Pole and a wonderful, fun Wigwam to play all summer in.

Parents and families are invited to share images of the completed projects on their Facebook/Instagram accounts and tag us @wicklowcountyartsoffice and @CreativeIrl.

Workshop Video One: Foraging for Materials - Aoife shows children and parents how to carefully search for and collect suitable materials for their totem and wigwam in their local green areas, woods and laneways.

Workshop Video Two: Making your Totem Pole - This workshop video shows kids how to clean, paint and put up their totem pole under parental guidance.

Workshop Video Three: Building a Wigwam - In this workshop video kids and parents will build their Wigwam using their gathered materials. They will learn to weave, tie and support their wigwam so it lasts the whole Summer!

Workshop Video Four: Decorating your Wigwam - Kids will learn how to decorate their wigwam using wool, string, paint and upcycling techniques.
